Following this, she spent four years working as a Vice President for State Street Bank and subsequently in sustainable finance. In 2018, Tabassum completed a Master's in Management at Harvard University with a Dean’s Academic Achievement listing. Since 2020, she has been working on her first business venture – Pink Tea Café – which achieved a monthly turnover of over £15,000 in Mayfair as a pop-up café and continues to offer corporate gifting and direct-to-consumer online www.pinkteacafe.com. Tabassum is also an alumna of the Wilton Park British German Forum.In the charitable sector, Tabassum has been an active volunteer at the Al Manaar Centre (MCHC) in North Kensington, providing advice on their first endowment project with the council RBKC. Tabassum has also served as a Trustee at the Westway Trust, one of London’s largest and longest-established development trusts spanning 23 acres under the Westway flyover.
