I am an extremely motivated leader that spearheads everything I do with hunger and innovative thinking. I have 18 years of experience in healthcare including my current position as Manager of Centralized Services for the Pre- Authorization & Data Entry departments. I manage with a mission and dedication to revolutionize patient care and patient access through unmistakable quality and spectacular service. My passion is developing strong leaders that are enabled to lead strong healthy teams through servant leadership while also working with the rest of my teams to help develop our future leaders.In my previous position as Front End Revenue Cycle Supervisor I focused on patient access for over 150 physician practices for large Healthcare system in Northwest Ohio/Southeastern Michigan while also managing the Training & Development department, Support Helpdesk, and the Reconciliation department. In this role I was afforded some amazing opportunities to make a positive impact on the patient experience through training and education and through implementation and creation of streamlined company wide policy and procedures. I also had a big role in the training and implementation of Epic (Cadence) for the entire health system over a 2 year phased implementation roll out.Previously I had the opportunity to build the workflows for patient registration of 13 multi-disciplinary practices and 3 hospital departments that register 1,500 patients a day through my role as Supervisor of Centralized Registration. The Centralized Registration concept was the first of its kind for the health system and I was involved in the planning and creation of the registration department a year prior to grand opening.For many years I have worked alongside of Providers, Office Managers, Directors, and VP's and have gained a clear understanding of the pain points for each area. These experiences and interactions have helped me to develop many training opportunities, workflow processes, and policies & procedures to help all departments. It's easy to come up with a process that benefits your department but the key is to develop something that is beneficial and profitable to all departments. I pride myself on forward thinking with the mindset and passion to develop and improve processes to serve others and improve lives through exceptional patient care while also building strong teams to help grow and revolutionize business for the entire organization.
