I have worked in the world of student loans for 14 years. I have done many tasks within Navient which includes collection for both federal and private student loans. I spent about 5 years in the training department to which I trained new hires and current employees on both federal and private loans. While in training I also created, updated, and maintained vital documents needed to complete daily task. In addition to having knowledge on students loans I spent about 3 months learning and helping train in another Navient business called Xtend. I traveled to their home base and learned basic of their daily functions and went through new hire training. I also facilitated training for current employees during one of my trips. I have been working from home with Navient since 2019. This has taught me great self and time management to be able to complete all my task from my home.
