Home health PT working in Casa Grande and the neighboring towns. It was a lot of driving, but the views were BEAUTIFUL. I loved that no matter what direction you looked, there were mountains. I grew close and connected with many patients as I often do. I care about people and I LOVE the elderly. I treated a wide variety of heart, neurological, orthopedic post-surgical, and deconditioned patients.

Dayton, Ohio Area

This was a 12 week clinical rotation in which I trained under two different therapists both dry needling certified. One clinical instructor is MCT and women’s health certified primarily working with EDS and women’s health populations. The other instructor specializes in runners and the foot. We would regularly performs running analyses. I also gained experience in creating foot orthotics in clinic.

Kettering, Oh

This was a 12 week outpatient clinical rotation in which I trained under an ATC certified physical therapist with 13 years of experience. We worked as part of Kettering's "spine team" and focused heavily on post-surgical spine patients; however, also saw non-surgical s[pine, knees, shoulders, etc. I had the opportunity to work with several non-english speaking individuals during this rotation as well.

Toledo, Ohio Area

This was an 8 week inpatient/outpatient neuro clinical rotation. My CI was studying for NCS, thus I attended and participated in study sessions. Though the facility saw outpatient orthopedic patients as well, we focused on evaluation and treatment of stroke, TBI, MS, special needs, and amputees.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

This was a 7 week clinical rotation in a skilled nursing facility. The location included memory care, short term, and long-term care units. I had the opportunity to participate and lead the evaluation and treatment of generally deconditioned, post-surgical orthopedic, and a wide variety of neurological patients.
