In this role, my focus is providing strategic oversight for external manufacturing partners and working alongside diverse teams to positively affect KPIs for a variety of industry-leading brands. I provide strategic oversight for CMO schedules, proactively address potential supply chain issues, and mitigate bottlenecks to ensure we meet throughput targets and timeline goals within a challenging post-pandemic environment. By leveraging advanced data analytics, subject matter expertise, and senior-level vision, I maintain integral involvement in supporting critical decision-making processes, driving innovation, and designing solutions that positively impact our ability to provide customers with products of exemplary quality. I was also instrumental in managing extensive gains in sales volume for a key Bayer brand during the COVID-19 pandemic, which involved qualifying and integrating new vendors to safeguard supply chain reliability while simultaneously aligning production and logistics frameworks with global demand. My dedication to building partnership-style relationships with large-scale specialty manufacturers and ability to direct international teams toward common goals has been instrumental in achieving objectives and positioning Bayer for continued growth within multiple market segments.

During this time, I was involved in cultivating critical relationships with global manufacturing partners, focusing international teams toward achieving our production requirements, and designing solutions for impacting a wide range of business-level metrics. I was tasked with managing several complex projects and was able to successfully bring product concepts to market by securing relationships with specialized suppliers, working with manufacturers to create bespoke products, and streamlining processes to significantly reduce lead times. By combining Lean Six Sigma principles with positive leadership, I was able to achieve substantial cost reductions, resolve productivity bottlenecks, and decrease timelines between product concept and full-scale production. My efforts were instrumental in launching a multimillion-dollar product line and securing production partners to scale volume to over 3M units annually, while also achieving significant reductions in development, production, and distribution costs for several other brands.

In my role as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Schering-Plough, I managed a comprehensive portfolio of domestic and international suppliers to maintain reliable supply chains and ensure all quality metrics were met or exceeded. My expertise in contract negotiation was instrumental in standardizing exchange rates and capping material increases, which allowed us to achieve our budget and profitability goals. My sourcing strategy including comprehensive analysis of cost of goods, capacity, and pricing variances, which allowed me to create data-drive reporting for senior leadership teams. I successfully reduced materials costs by initiating key improvement projects with suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, and building positive vendor relationships. results while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and regulatory excellence.
