Assist the High School PrincipalManage and administer student discipline and attendance policies in grades 7-12 including truancy filings, parent communications, student contracts, and student plans for success.Develop and deliver professional development based our district's data, needs and SIP plan. Managed and plan teacher collaboration focusing on curriculum pacing calendar work, data analysis and instructional improvement based on assessment. . Run 7-12 staff meetings focusing on curriculum, instruction, and school procedures and policies. Develop staff and student handbook. Complete and administer plan to implement handbook policies and communicate this procedure with staff, students and community in order to ensure success of these policies.Increase student learning by organizing and facilitating parent meetings and communications, system management, assessment coordination, budget management, and contract negotiations. Serve as ASB advisor, co Athletic Director and activities coordinator. Develop student leadership potential through planning and advising. Revise and administer policies relating to eligibility and athletic code. Supervise and plan activities and athletic events.Assist in leading School Improvement Plan team, math improvement team through MLA, WASSDA Board Policy Review team, and Teacher/Principal Evaluation Pilot team.Observe 7-12 teachers both formally through scheduled and unscheduled observations and through walkthroughs. Work with staff to develop instructional skills and improve student learning based on the UW Center for Educational Leadership 5 Dimensions framework.
