The School Partnership Manager works closely with the Director of School Partnerships on the coordination, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Gleaner’s Community Food Bank school-based programs. The School Partnership Manager is directly responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders at the state, the school, and the district levels and supervises the daily work of seasonal program monitoring staff.

In support of the Assistant Director of Homeless and Foster Care Services, the Program Associate II assists with the administration and implementation of policies and procedures as set forth in the McKinney-Vento Act and to provide assistance and guidance to parents/guardians, students and participants relative to the McKinney-Vento Act. The Program Associate II also provides technical knowledge and assistance in areas such as data compilation, record maintenance, scheduling and preparedness for hearings, meetings and consultations.

Collaborate with teachers, counselors and parents to establish goals for students in an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)Evaluate and assess individuals needs and concerns by conducting psychosocial assessments, including the BASC 3 and the GARS II.Provide support to special education students as mandated per student IEPs.

Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students by monitoring the students’ responses to the interventions identified. Conduct collaborative consultations with general education teachers to develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans. Complete functional behavior assessments and communicate the results to all team members with appropriate supportive language for teachers, students and families. Facilitate educational and behavioral interventions recommended for student success through identifying community resources for students and make referrals to the appropriate resources.
