In 2013, Tabe was asked to move to Perth by WSP to manage and rebuild the WA operations. During the years of 2013 to 2017, as Office Director and Building Services Manager, Tabe was part of the team that delivered projects such as Perth Arena, Yagan Square, Freo Dockers HQ, West Coast Eagles HQ, Mandurah Aquatic Centre, Scarborough Beach Pool, Intercontinental Hotel, Forrestfield Airport Link, Banksia Grove Shopping Centre Stage 2, Empire Apartments and Kwinana Waste to Energy Power Station.

As WA Regional Director, Tabe oversaw the WA operations consisting of 180 engineers, across 4 business groups - Transport, Resources, Environment and Property. In 2007, Tabe was asked to move to Auckland, New Zealand by WSP to manage and rebuild the NZ operations. In the 3 years post GFC, Tabe doubled the size of his Building Services Team showing the strength of the client relationships he had forged, even during tough economic conditions. Projects included Diocesan School for Girls Aquatic Centre, CityGate Hamilton (4 Star Green Star), Avondale College Stages 1, 2 & 3, Stonefields Primary School (5 Star Green Star), Norman Kirk Aquatic Centre and Baxter Healthcare NSW.
