Revenue growth of more than 8% to $773.9 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, compared to $713.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2021.Net income attributable to common shareholders of $223.0 million, or $1.42 per diluted share (EPS), for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, compared to $111.7 million, or $0.71 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2021.Funds from operations (FFO) were $304.6 million, or $1.94 per diluted share, at the end of the quarter ended June 30, 2022, compared to $268.6 million, or $1.72 per diluted share, at the end of the quarter ended June 30, 2021.EPS and FFO per share exceeded the midpoint of BXP guidance of $0.62 and $0.09 per share, respectively. Earnings per share included a gain on sale of $0.55 per share and included better than expected portfolio performance of $0.09 per share in EPS and FFO. the better than expected portfolio performance was due in part to lower than expected operating expenses of $0.05 per share due to the deferral of certain maintenance costs. We expect to recognize the majority of the second quarter expense savings in the second half of 2022.BXP is providing guidance for (1) third quarter 2022 earnings of $0.74-$0.76 per share and financial expense of $1.86-$1.88 per diluted share and (2) full year 2022 earnings of $5.40-$5.45 per share and financial expense of $7.48-$7.53 per diluted share. Through our efforts, we demonstrated that developing and operating commercial properties can be done with conscious attention to the environment and community, while mutually benefiting our tenants and shareholders.We reduced like-for-like energy and water usage by 6.9% and 4.0% respectively, saving approximately $10.7 million annually in recurring operating costs.We exceeded our 2020 targets for reducing energy and water use intensity and greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 19.8 per cent for energy use, 21.8 per cent for water use and 31.5 per cent for greenhouse gas emissions intensity in a letter from Chief Executive Officer Owen Thomas from the 2008 baseline;For the fifth consecutive year we were ranked in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) assessment, receiving our fifth Green Star recognition and the highest GRESB rating of 5 stars.We were ranked 36th out of 733 companies - in the top 5% of global participants in the 2016 GRESB assessment and second among US office companies.we certified and recertified 3.3 million square feet under the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program, increasing our green building portfolio to 17.1 million square feet; andWe maintained our ongoing commitment to volunteerism and philanthropy by donating more than 4,000 service hours to over 700 community events and charitable activities.
