The Run With Heart Foundation's mission is to educate the non-medical community on CPR and AED use at no cost to them. We want to provide everyone with the knowledge, skills and confidence to step in if ever an emergency arises. It is proven that bystander CPR saves lives. The foundation's hope is that by providing this critical training, at no cost, we will be able to bridge the gap between when an individual suffers a cardiac arrest and EMS arrival. Time is crucial in these situations. With the implementation of bystander CPR and AED use, we are providing the best chance of survival. It literally could mean the difference between life and death. My role as Executive Director is comprised of multiple duties, including but not limited to, strategic planning of fundraisers, overseeing relationships to achieve the foundations mission and goals, leading the executive team and foundation members towards growth and development, and to maintain the day to day needs of the foundation.
