I am a law graduate, after completing an undergraduate degree at Birmingham City University. Invaluable work experience has been gained as a HR Assistant and Intern Paralegal; communication, organisation and administrative skills have been developed in these roles. Self-sufficiency and leadership skills have been gained from my supervisory position at my current employment. I am looking to pursue a career in Human Resources in a reputable company. My motivation for this is because of my strong organisational skills, eye for detail and passion for people-management.Duties & achievements:• HR & People Management: Being involved in the hiring process; identifying recruitment priorities and sitting in on interviews, to assess potential candidates. Screening CVs for potential interviewees. Conducting inductions for new starters and completing relevant admin and paperwork.• Management & organisation: Floor walking (supervising 30 colleagues operating machinery) and overseeing the scheduling of the staff rota to ensure maximum workforce productivity.• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service: Speaking to clients, potential clients, courts, other law firms and the police force to obtain additional information required or chase outstanding decisions on active case files.• Eye for detail and legal research: Complete paperwork for clients, such as insurance paperwork and billing documents.• Professionalism and legal writing: Attend court, meet clients and take notes on proceedings.In my personal life, I enjoy listening to and performing live music; I have played guitar for over 14 years and have completed multiple grades in both piano and violin. I also love travelling and fitness: particularly Yoga and Pilates.
