Developing a social media presence for a newly established society.

Day-to-day responsibilities included creating a weekly plan for a variety of sessions, including water sessions, weight training, and ergs. Includes co-ordinating availabilities of around 20 rowers, making sure all correct safety protocols were being followed, making squad selections for races, race-day organisation (e.g. transportation, boat-handling), and coaching sessions.

This role centred around acting as a face of the college to welcome all incoming students and greet them, ensuring everyone felt included and a part of our community. As part of this, I efficiently managed a budget of £12,000 whilst managing a team of 40 student volunteers, and organising a week of activities for a cohort of 300 students. I was also in charge of social media output across multiple platforms in order to effectively communicate information in an engaging manner.
