With this position I planned ever den meeting to ensure the scouts are completing their requirements for belt loops while also having fun. Leadership is required with this position on two levels. One to gain respect from the boys doing scouting so they pay attention so the meeting is successful. Then on the other hand being able to be in charge to direct assistant leaders on how to help accomplish the goals for the meetings as well as having respect from parents so you are a person they go to if they don't understand something. This in requires having knowledge on the various topics that are covered so an answer can be given to any range of questions. Organization is key with this position, as the progress of many scouts is the leader's responsibility to keep track of. The den leader has to put in the system the awards earned by each scout as they earn them.

I was in charge of financing and tracking mileage. while keeping track of product on hand and ordering more as needed. Having product knowledge to be able to demonstrate how to use products to customers. Having good people skills with a friendly personality. I was also in charge of a small team of consultants. This responsibility including training them on product knowledge and presenting to customers.

During this time I decorated cakes that were special ordered. During evening work I would prep cakes for display. Other responsibilities included: Helping customers, cleaning sanitizing work area, stocking shelves with breads and deserts. Helping customers could include: taking an order for a cake/desert, cutting bread, getting items out of display case for purchase, and find an item for the customer.
