I owned a book of business that included Essentra's top accounts. I used a data-driven approach to complete strategic projects in order to support business objectives. I trained global distributors in our portfolio to grow fulfillment and demand generation customers through technical marketing initiatives, using POS, Power BI, etc. I presented business reviews to product management and executives that resulted in stock and new product introduction packages.

I assessed and onboarded opportunities for new and existing customers while also supporting day to day operations within Brand Manufacturing. I regularly supported customers in a highly cross functional role which focused on operations and project management (including sustainability, new endeavors, etc).

I worked with customers to determine the best way for them to use Misumi's new software program. It required me to travel to customers and understand what slow adapters found difficult about the program as well as what frequent users liked about the program and how they became proficient. I was then tasked to put together a business plan to roll out to the rest of the sales teams to help their customers become familiar with and regular use the software.

With my experience at Misumi USA headquarters, I felt ready to dive into my next challenge as an asset to the technical sales team. I relocated to CA to support the southwest customer base by collecting feedback from various companies in different industries (semiconductor, media, software, etc) to implement customer-centric changes. I provide quick, thorough solutions for customers when emergencies arise and act as a business development manager to exceed a multi million dollar sales goal as well as key performance indicators. During our quarterly meetings, I present the success of my territory, suggest innovative tools needed, and assist with case studies. I've received the peacemaker, top closer, and Million Dollar awards for excellence with customers. My most recent fiscal year I grew my multi-million territory by 30%.

After proving myself in the inside sales engineering role, upper management felt I could add value in the applications engineering role. I joined the motion systems team specializing in linear guides, ballscrews, lead screws, etc. I assisted customers with their projects and answered questions about our components. I also worked on projects such as cost analysis to determine pricing for Misumi products, stock analysis to determine which products to keep in the warehouse, and others to develop business. I've lead two initiatives in creating technical catalogs, collaborating with third parties and our marketing group. I also mentored two other engineers when our STAND program was introduced to help them flourish in their new roles.After about 9 months, the marketing department asked if I would assist with the university program, giving presentations regarding Misumi. They felt that my technical background as well as my passion for mentoring and presentation skills would be received well by the students. The presentations consisted of Misumi's unique business model, technical product information, and student benefits to groups of various sizes (a handful to hundreds of students) to schools such as Virginia Tech, MIT, and Cornell. Occasionally, I assisted with the behind the scenes work of setting up accounts to allow for student discounts, etc.

I was a project lead to manage an account that is a world-wide top tier automotive manufacturer to help with new direction for Misumi. I contacted customers who download linear motion components in order to assist with their applications. I also called customers who registered for one of Misumi's web accounts and aided them with any questions they had regarding mechanical components. I followed up with past customers who have not purchased in several months to learn about current projects and offer assistance. I used Access, Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM frequently and have become familiar with the programs.

I sold test and measurement equipment to a variety of satisfied companies across various engineering fields while managing multiple accounts. I led, organized, and assisted with technical training classes ranging from several to hundreds of attendees. I am trained to use and apply various test and measurement equipment (including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc). I launched marketing campaigns via Constant Contact to gather requirements for thousands of customers and 12 account managers. I cold called many customers to inform them about Rohde & Schwarz products and influenced their buying decisions.

I edited and drafted patent applications for content (correct circuitry, explanations of patented product, etc) and grammar. I responded to immediate concerns for clients on tight schedules and to actions from the US Patent and Trademark Office.

I worked in the on-market meter investigation engineering group at Abbott Diabetes Care where I determined electrical and mechanical root cause failures of multiple brands of diabetes meters.

As part of the Hoeft Technology and Management Capstone Project I worked to implement and research means to improve trading by means of social networking tools.

I lead a team of four engineering interns in a green energy initiative project. My portion of the project included researching Vanadium Redox Battery - Energy Storage Systems and Cogeneration while also preparing a cost analysis for the feasibility of implementing such systems at a State Farm Building.

I taught a class of 22 freshmen about the department of electrical and computer engineering. I mentored many young engineers and helped them with life outside of school work.

I worked with Corrective Action/Preventative Action methods in dealing with product recalls. I also used Infinity QS to analyze Voyager NC (a catheter line) data in order to set control limits for random re-testing of the products.

I refereed soccer games and learned to make quick, well formed decisions.
