VicrYl ExtrusionResponsibilities:Extruders:Aspirate fiber from stack around Godet roller onto leesona. Monitor speeds and temps of Godet, nitrogen levels and path of fiber. Enter data into Camstar per spool, such as weight, lube speed, roller speed etc. Keep area clean. Keep supplies stocked.OR(Orientation)Hang spools at appointed stands. Verify speeds and temps before and after orientation. Use aspiration to orient fiber to kamitsu. Enter data using ALCOA. Keep area clean. Keep supplies stocked.PO (Process Operator)Duties include but are not limited to any and all previous listed duties for an EOT and add duties such as starting up new runs, running lube test, verifying calibrations, mixing chemicals to make lube, operating hot plate and hot knife. Working with mechanical Engineer to trouble shoot extruders, control speeds, temps and other aspects to maintain best quality fiber, load fiber into tenny ovens.Testing:Weigh spools using scales and denier them using denier wheel and scales. Enter into camstar to create labels. Scan labels into Statimats. Monitor statimats to assure proper pulls. Assess test papers to assure product is properly handled, whether it is quality or needs to be destroyed. In general, for all positions, prepare for oncoming shift. Coordinate with oncoming operator of any problems of changes they need to be made aware of. Follow GDP as well as GMP at all times.PO:I have fully trained to be a process operator, basically the person who controls the properties and runnability of the fiber in which we run. As a process operator, we are responsible for lot changes, polymer changes, control of temp profiles and pressures of extruders, loading tenny ovens with fiber, deciding to destroy failed spools or to retest, then carrying that decision. Coordinating with set up mechanic for any mechanical needs of extruders, or any other machinery in use. Also coordinating with any other support department needed to keep process flow flowing.Senior

Plant II Twisting/OEResponsibilities included but was not limited to:Preventative maintenance and crisis maintenance on 12 twisting frames which included changing belts, air valves, motors, barons, as well as many other parts. Also, greasing, and regular cleaning. Also changing gears and belts for sizing purposes. Preventative maintenance and crisis maintenance of up to 8 OE frames which included but was not limited to rebuild of individual winders, changing belts, motors, shafts gears for sizing purposes run job if no operator on shift as well as many other responsibilities.

Responsibilities included but were not limited to leading a team of employees to complete daily orders from beginning of process until complete and ready for shipment department. This included cutting material to size, welding material together to form frames and sash, applying all necessary hardware and preparing frames for glass windows to be installed. Also, was responsible for the glass room. Raw glass had to be cut to size put through washing process, glazed with glazing bead to create double pane window units to insert into frame and sash for frame. This also required 1st hand knowledge of how to run saws, punches welders, as well as all equipment in glass room, keep product lines running in a timely process. I was also responsible for trouble shooting any issues with product or process and escalation if necessary. I also had to keep up with weekly inventory of parts and supplies.
