As an income maintenance technician, I use confidential client information to process applications for food assistance(SNAP), medical assistance (Medicaid, Medicare Savings Programs, and Long-Term Care Medicaid), and cash assistance (Old Age Pensions, Home Care Allowance, and Aid to the Needy and Disabled) for the elderly, disabled, and needy population in my community. I work closely with several community partners to help meet my clients needs. My job requires and has given me extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and outlook.

As a team leader, my responsibilities included managing departments and teams. I tracked the sales for each department I managed. I determined innovative ways to increase department sales, and researched the products out of stock. Managing the team required delegating workload, accountability, performance reviews, and communication. As the “Team Trainer Captain”, I designed a new training system, recruited team trainers for all departments and functions of the store, and reviewed and measured effectiveness.
