I am a qualified native English teacher with diverse and extensive experience as well as an interest in a variety of teaching styles. I have more than 5 years of experience teaching English and I continually aim to build on my own experiences of education, tailoring my teaching style to the individual needs of the pupil. I believe strongly in the importance of education by encouraging the learner’s innate curiosity and creativity. My experience of learning languages is that they promote tolerance, creativity, problem solving and communication; to pass this on is a profound and essential task as well as a privilege for the teacher.I myself have experience of learning two languages via immersion in the country and culture, which provides me with an understanding of how to best lead and support the language learning process. I have expanded my study of languages by living, working and studying in French and Spanish in order to gain experience to further my teaching. I aim to improve my knowledge and experience of teaching for multiple intelligences and learning styles.
