In the role of business development representative I do the outreach and research of agent/agencies to be sure the information in the system is accurate. With outreach I make calls and e-mails to agents to peak their interest for EverQuotes marketing techniques and programs we have to offer. Once interest is peaked and pipeline has been built I schedule meetings for my inside sales representative to meet with said agent to begin the pricing details needed for the agency. Using effective communication to both the client and advisor. Recording attendance of morning meetings, and time out of calls. Mentorship to new team members, including shadowing calls, coaching and one on ones. I focused on helping and supporting struggling team members with meetings focused on - discussing struggles, shadowing, script practice, coaching sessions and listening in on calls. I put together information to share with the team on things that are new or needing review. Not only motivating the team but as well as celebrating and cheering them on. I run morning meetings and team meetings and any others needed when manager on the team is away.
