Worked in the Virginia Kelly Karnes Archives and Special Collections Research Center as a student worker under Adriana Harmeyer. I was tasked to do many things, but focused on the rare books. I updated and moved books to new locations and created flags for the books for easy identification. Through this experience I learned to identify books and store them properly. I also worked on different inventories for different collections. I was able to help out and pick out books and help with placement for the Bruce Rogers Exhibit. I have a general knowledge of how to use ArchiveSpace and work at a Reception Desk. I am able to help visitors and get researchers registered and ready to view what the Archives has to offer them.
