Inventory Control Manager
Current• Ensure department performance objectives (inventory accuracy, cycle counts, inventory turns, return to stocks/RMA's, labor ratios) are achieved.• Oversight and management of inventory control and put-away teams with strong collaboration with Distribution and Production operations Manage the hiring, firing and maintenance of a diverse and effective workforce. Responsible for career development/planning, training, performance, and development/coaching discussions with team members.• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvement strategies that will allow for easy inventory controls at both upstream processes such as purchasing, demand capture, etc., as well as downstream processes such as managing inventory aging, scrap, obsolescence, etc.• In collaboration with forecasting and planning teams, manage an annual inventory forecast and track progress on a weekly basis.
