I’m a compassionate community builder, centering equity and inclusion, with an eye for detail and process improvement. I am the LGBTQ+Friends Vice Chair for Danaher and Senior Manager DE+I at Beckman Coulter. Through these roles, I've made deep connections through my first year, traveling to 6 different locations, working with speakers (both internal and external) from over 10 countries and 10 different functions, and having spoken at more than 5 events (within Beckman Coulter as well as the Danaher family of companies). I have spoken on topics such as intercultural and inclusive communication, gender and sexuality, and equity. I am working to ensure we're connecting the incredible work of our 13 local DE+I teams to the vast network of practitioners and resources that support them. I am documenting our current accessibility and inclusive landscape (from virtual to physical) to understand where we can increase equity, and building tools and checklists to directly address gaps. I love the sheer scale involved and the dedication of my colleagues to the needs of marginalized voices, and am eager to contribute to ensuring folks feel seen and supported.I previously consulted on DE+I in Talent Acquisition for 30+ Fortune500 companies, ran a cross departmental DE+I committee with over 40 members and 10 working groups, and led and executed a global diversity month with 34 events in its first year. I’m skilled at orchestrating employee buy-in and engagement from entry to executive levels, and have created a communications strategy for a headquarters move of over 650 employees. Additionally I've crafted internal and external communications for every company and organization I've worked with. I am driven by making a difference on a global scale and executing high quality work. I’ve identified company need and created my own role twice, and was named TransPerfect’s 2015 Impact Player. I am on the Community Manager of CBYXAA, fluent in German, learning Portuguese, teach Irish Step Dance, and read on average 80 books a year.
