I was originally hired at this startup company as a data entry specialist, and was quickly promoted to the position of account manager and customer service supervisor. I managed accounts with large companies such as Amazon and Walmart, along with many others. I also took on the task of managing and ensuring accurate commission payments for a period of time.. I also taught myself graphic design and web development skills in order to make myself into a more valuable and versatile asset to my coworkers.

was asked to return to VCA as a Customer Service Representative in 2015. Within a few months of my return I was trained and promoted to a position of exam room nurse, wherein I handled both client interaction and education as well as medical treatments of the animals. My main job duties entailed getting a medical history from the client, I would then relay the information to the doctor. I would then create and present a treatment plan while the doctor was in the room. I would explain the costs and educate the clients on the treatments that were recommended by the doctor. I would fill any medications that were prescribed, as well as give injections, vaccinations, and fluids. I also restrained for blood draws and would assist with radiographs.

This position provided me with an amazing foundation for a career in customer service. This hospital is a very busy emergency and general practice hybrid, therefore I became very skilled at multitasking and managing demanding situations while maintaining a cheerful and calm demeanor. I learned while working at this job that I have a natural eagerness to help coworkers with their tasks while honing my natural skills as a courteous, empathetic, and professional person.
