As the WW lead for PC Accessories, I was responsible for the end-to-end P&L. I provided financial analysis, forecasts, and sales promotions approvals to optimize Microsoft’s computer accessories portfolio and improve gross margin. I analyzed quarterly performance metrics and presented insights to senior leaders. I collaborated with go-to-market, sales, and engineering teams to set revenue and GM targets. I also supported Surface Devices Consumer segment by evaluating promotional funding asks, enhancing finance tools for category managers, and modeling promotional spend.

As a rising senior, I interned in Finance at Polaris Industries in the Parts, Garments, and Accessories (PGA) team. The PGA finance team managed the Income Statement for both Polaris-branded and subsidiary-branded products. I analyzed inventory health by compiling and summarizing data for over 50,000 parts. I improved the accuracy of forecasting salary expenses by creating a single Excel file to track headcount. The BYU Bachelor of General Studies is a program that allows students all over the world to complete their bachelor's degree by taking physical and/or online courses. In this role, I worked as an advisor to current and future students and as an office assistant.I advised over 10 students per week on the best academic course of action. I increased program enrollment by educating future students about program requirements and the application process. I coached over 5 students per week through college graduation steps by setting goals with them and outlining a graduation plan.

As a part-time financial analyst intern, I worked with DMBA's investment group. I recommended to buy/sell/hold investments by analyzing the financial state of 4 major companies in the U.S. oil and energy industries. I wrote credit reports for each of these 4 companies by learning how to use tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, and financial ratios from 10K's and 10Q's. I informed DMBA about its current securities by presenting these credit reports and my recommendations to the investment team.

I helped the Recreation Department run efficiently by fulfilling office duties and working directly with customers to resolve complaints.
