Monitoring Seminary’s compliance with the Department of Education requirements for Title IV funding. Administering the various loan programs available to students. Assist in the development of scholarship and grant criteria. Coordinate the merit scholarship process. Supervise Student Employment Program, including processing student applications, posting open positions, referring qualified students, and ensuring the completion of the appropriate forms. Coordinate Federal Work Study Program. Determine student eligibility, monitor correct allocation of federal funds. Complete federal reports in conjunction with the Office of Finance and Operations. Coordinate international students’ arrival to McCormick and the U.S. Provide orientation for housing, McCormick Seminary, the Hyde Park community, and life in the United States. Provide support and guidance to international students in a variety of ways including helping with cultural adjustment issues. Counsel graduate students with respect to government, private, and University financial aid policies and procedures before, during and after their studies at the University. Conduct entrance and exit interviews for all loan borrowers. Update borrowers' records, including deferments, cancellations, and partial payments, and prepare paid in full accounts for purging. Maintain accurate accounting for daily cash receipts and ensure proper account distribution for Financial Accounting Systems entries. Distribute subsidized, unsubsidized Stafford and private loans. Prepare and maintain records of petty cash; request reimbursement. Monitor cash and Brinks deposit; request additional services or changes.
