At WEA (Women's Earth Alliance), we believe that when women thrive, the Earth thrives.Since 2006, WEA has equipped grassroots women leaders with the skills and tools they need to protect our earth and strengthen communities from the inside out. In some of the most environmentally threatened regions, WEA leaders are launching sustainable farms, saving indigenous seeds, selling clean cookstoves, providing safe water, protecting land rights, and more. With local leadership guiding each project, WEA designs capacity-building trainings where women access skills and tools in appropriate technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership. They receive seed grants, mentorship, and a global alliance. With these resources in hand, these groups go on to scale their own environmental initiatives and teach others to do the same.To date, more than 12,645 women leaders have accessed WEA trainings, reaching an additional 13 million people in 24 countries with their environmental and social innovations. Regardless of the unique conditions in each region, the efforts of WEA participants lead to a consistent set of cascading benefits that we call the "WEA Effect": women are empowered, children are safer, communities are healthier, natural resources regenerate, local economies prosper, regions stabilize, and lasting transformation takes root.

The Colburn School is a world-class performing arts school where a renowned faculty provides instruction in music, dance and drama to dedicated students of all ages. Since 1950, the school has equipped students with the skills, support and opportunity needed to achieve their highest artistic goals. The school's state-of-the-art campus is located in the “heart-of-art” of downtown Los Angeles, neighboring Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Music Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and the Broad Museum. I serve as a senior member of The Colburn School Advancement Department and am responsible for the ongoing cultivation of current and prospective donors to effectively deepen their relationship and support. Specifically, I manage a prospect portfolio in active cultivation and facilitate fundraising based around Advancement’s strategic priorities, including annual giving, restricted gifts, and endowment gifts. I help establish specific financial goals, develop long-term philanthropic relationships, and am an integral part of helping The Colburn School reach its fundraising goals while preparing for its first ever capital campaign.
