After graduation I joined the team as an application engineer of the DF FA PMA APC division of SIEMENS AG in Erlangen, Germany. As a member of this team I was responsible for numerous standard applications in the field of Web Handling, Converting and Motion Control for about 5 years. The applications are standard applications for the SIMOTION, SINAMICS and SIMATIC range controllers. Apart from these I was also deeply involved in customer projects, workshops and trainings (as trainer) all around the globe.In the next four years I have worked with AUDI AG in Győr, Hungary where a brand new car factory was being established. My tasks included the supervision and coordination of the transport systems (SKID, EHB) installation and commissioning in the body shop which interconnects the various robot cells and manages the movement of the chassis and add-on parts. These system heavily rely on drives and PLCs but most importantly on cross-machine interfaces and communication.Right now I am involved in the definition, planning and rollout for IT solutions. The systems I work with are sort of middleware between the automation (PLC) level of the manufacturing and superimposed solutions for parts and quality tracking, equipment monitoring and order processing.
