About Tabs D.

Hi, I'm Tabitha ”Tabs” Peacock Chemelli Draper. I love working in full-stack software, game, and web development as well as digital arts and data science. I'm genderqueer and non-binary; please refer to me with gender-neutral language and any pronouns (usually “they/them” or “she/her” or just “Tabs” instead). I tinkered with web development in middle school, concentrated on graphic design in high school, then dove into the dynamic studies of Computer Science in college. After finishing my Associates in Science and then an Associates in Engineering at Durham Technical Community College, I found my niche within the College of Arts & Sciences at UNCW. In August 2022, I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Digital Arts and a minor in Data Science.As a NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor, I enjoy volunteering monthly at Sir Walter Gun Club's Youth Skeet events. There, I help instruct shooters from ages 12-21 to improve their shotgun shooting in the formal game of Skeet and Sporting Clays.
