About Tabitha Taylor

I always wanted to be a priest, but didn't quite want to commit to the Church, so I became an independent celebrant! Celebrating milestones and marking rites of passage in people's lives is a very rewarding thing to do and my confidence in public speaking and creative writing enable me to do this well. I love getting down the essence who the people I serve really are and I pride myself on saying it right for them.I am a conscientious and enthusiastic person always trying to be helpful and kind. I have a lot of experience with research and writing having completed a masters in philosophy, but I also love working with people since I am very sociable and friendly. I have always enjoyed teaching and looking after children and taught in primary schools for 6 years. I currently tutor children of various ages in many different subjects. My attention to detail is keen and I really enjoy proofreading. I have worked on the English translations of two computing schemes of work for primary aged children (both digital and paper copy).
