CurrentResearch into new types of propulsion systems developed around magnetic physics and the combination of materials and there reactions when submitted to out of phase magnetic resonance fields to create new types of fuel modules to give sustainable supplies of fuel to new innovative rocket propulsion systems.The Research was to produce a new motor that negates the need for solid fuel and to replace the existing technology of kerosene fuels & hydrogen and oxygen fueled rocket motors.A number of different prototypes where built and tested with promising results one in particular that produced a ballistic jet .The Tachyon Aerospace Propulsion System consists of the , PowerCore, Gas Generator and the Tachyon Propulsion Engine. (TPE-1) Is either air breathing or closed system.Does not use standard oxygen and hydrogen but reactants are environmentally friendly.A working model of the engine has already been tested.The prototype engine had a calculated thrust of approximately 7000 lbf and a specific impulse (Isp) of 1480 lbf-sec/lbm.– Isp of SSME (LO2/LH2) is ~450 sec– Isp of RD-180 (LO2/RP1) is ~338 sec– Isp of SRB (solid propellant) is ~265 secBenefits of this technology:– Thrust of chemical propulsion– Specific impulse of electric propulsionTachyon Aerospace will scale the prototype to ~173,000 lbf thrust for the Tachyon Space Plane.
