Prior to founding Tacit, Todd was previously Head of Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships at RealWear where he wore many hats from its early days through launch, reaching production on the HMT-1 and initially securing their $17 million Series A funding. RealWear is a leading AR hardware technology company that manufactures hands-free ruggedized head-mounted wearable devices for Connected Worker programs. Todd played a significant role in building RealWear's more than 350 customers and responsible for establishing key partnerships.

My role was advising the company to identify capital partners, develop and finalize the business plan, investor presentations and all other collateral due-diligence materials needed. Successfully closed $50 million in equity funding from World Bank and Ashmore.

At SunTx, Todd managed the fundraising process and successfully getting the firm to its’ final closing of SunTx Fulcrum Fund LP, their inaugural institutional fund in February 2003.
