I was born in the same year as Steve Jobs and went into computing in 1978. I’ve watched the industry grow up, and enjoyed a successful career in Senior International Management, Business & Business Process Re-engineering, M&A Coaching, Sales, Infrastructure Transformation, and Business Service Management.I worked in the GLC, IBM, Amdahl, and BMC, I then joined Proxima Technology, a startup of five people behind a McDonalds in London. We sold to Compuware for $37 million in 2007. As the European MD of a software company that had been successfully sold, I’d reached the peak of my career and decided to take some time out. I spent the next two and a half years authoring the book Tactica™ based on a military philosophy and methodology for sales and customer success.I went back into the market in 2010 to apply my knowledge and the resources of Tactica™ freelance in Dell, Halian, evoco.co.uk, and F5 among others.Over the course of 40 years, I’ve watched generations of Business & IT professionals repeating the same mistakes as the generation before them. So, with decades of Pan-European Business experience, I now offer businesses a different journey, avoiding the "Black Swan" mistakes.
