America may run on Dunkin, but I run on caffeine and creativity. Simply put, I'm a creator.Since 2003, I've been running an e-commerce business that I built from the ground up. Creating that business was just the start. Once concept became reality, I dove into a perpetual process of problem solving, which is creation in its purest form. Creating technologically current websites, enticing marketing promotions, high customer retention rates, enhanced channels of communication, and most importantly, a value-added business model that set us above and apart from our competitors have been the keys to our success. I recognized early on that the resources developed and attained in this model would be underutilized, ignoring large potential streams of revenue. So, I began a B2B division and started building relationships with major companies in need of our products. To satisfy the higher volume needs of these accounts, I built new relationships with U.S. and international factories to deliver better quality in less time, customizing the process for the specific needs of the client. The value-added concept was pervasive in everything we did. I then took it a step further and created a full-scale drop-ship program that has served over 700 online companies. In addition to the order fulfillment services offered, we provided consulting services in sales, e-commerce, SEO, and risk management best practices for these businesses. My creative efforts extend far beyond my professional life. As a type 1 diabetes advocate and blogger, I work to create hope in those who have none or have been convinced by online naysayers that successful diabetes self-management isn't possible. As a youth sports coach, I work to create confidence and the physical and mental aptitude to succeed in high-level competitive sports. And as a husband and father of 5, through our homeschooling and other educational strategies, we're trying to create well-adjusted and well-prepared leaders for tomorrow.
