About Tad Smith

For the last 40 years I have provided equipment, training and support for projects ranging from civilian parachute jumps at altitudes up to 37,400 ft MSL for wing suit records to drop tests of parachute equipment up to 30,000 ft. In addition, I have provided equipment and support for MFF training operation in the USA. Some of the parachuting record attempts occurred in the USA and some outside the US. During this time I have also supplied equipment and consultation to TV and movie production for simulated and actual high altitude parachute drops / jumps. I personally have 48 parachute jumps at or above 30,000 ft. My personal highest jump is 37,500 ft.
