Tadas Kertenis founded tedo.lt in 2014, growing the company from a one-person operation to a team of 12 without any external investments or funding. The company still operates with approximately €2 million in annual revenue. Though he no longer manages day-to-day operations, Tadas retains stock and continues to receive a salary after hiring a CEO to take over.In 2022, he built a team for Hoperfy, recruiting a senior backend developer and a senior frontend developer. Initially focused on creating a spontaneous travel platform for young professionals, the team shifted direction after conducting user interviews. They realized that the same technology could better serve B2B clients and decided to pivot in that direction.Although Hoperfy's product is still under development, the team has generated over a significant number in revenue since 2023 by working with business customers and providing travel solutions that will eventually integrate into their subscription platform.Hoperfy now offers two distinct products:- A Business Travel Management platform that calculates the precise ROI for every business trip.- A Hotel Recommendation and Booking platform specifically designed for event visitors.
