In reference to my educational background, I have a master's degree in Field Epidemiology, and I was graduated in 2011 from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. I have also bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health from University of Gondar, Ethiopia in 2006.Currently, I am working as Vaccine preventable diseases immunization consultant in Papaua New Guinea with World Health Organization since 2019. From 2016 to 2019, I served as Field Epidemiology Training Program Coordinator in Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia seconded by Global Fund. I also volunteered in the fight against Ebola in Western Africa, Sierra Leone for 6 months through African Union from December 2014 to June 2015. From 2011 to 2016, I worked in Gambella Regional Health Bureau as Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and Public Health Emergency Management,Disease Surveillance Officer. Besides, I was responsible to coordinate and facilitate different training, coordination meetings, and Micro Planning and outbreak responses.I was also Expanded Program of Immunization as Coordinator in a governmental health institution in Metti Health Center, Gambella, Ethiopia from 2006-2007 and as college Instructor for Health Extension workers in 2008. During my tenure in all mentioned positions above, I have acquired versatile experience in human resource management, planning & monitoring and team working. And also obtained vast knowledge and skills Logistics related and management. I have been looking for a position where I can continue to grow in my career and leverage my background in broad range of technical works and other quality control activities to develop high value added results in theField.
