Duties and accomplishments •Strengthen Routine Immunization•Support provinces on preparations to introduce COVID-19 Vaccine •Support and strengthen VPD and COVID-19 surveillance•Technical assistance on micro plan development to implement accelerated program of routine immunization •Support province/district/health facilities to establish and maintain a regular program of outreach and mobile visits for immunization service delivery•Provide technical training to frontline workers on EPI at the health facility level•Support provinces/district/health facility to improve completeness and timeliness of EPI data reporting through National Health Information System (NHIS)/eNHIS, improve data quality and management, and do regular analysis of EPI data and identify bottle necks to improve the EPI coverage•Conduct on the job training and coaching on Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP), Acute Febrile Rash (AFR)and other Vaccine Preventable diseases (VPD ) surveillance for subnational surveillance staff/focal persons •Ensure complete and accurate case investigation of reported AFP and AFR cases•Support the province/district in timely, good quality specimen collection from AFP and AFR cases and other VPD cases•Conduct active case search for AFP and AFR cases •Support timely and complete Zero reporting from designated sites•Support provincial and district efforts to expand the reporting network down to community level•Support Provincial Diseases Control officers (PDCOs) to submit weekly surveillance report using ODK application •Maintain AFP, AFR and other VPD line listing at the provincial level and assist regular analysis of key surveillance indicators of AFP and AFR as per the global standard•Ensure regular meetings of Provincial Emergency Operation Center (PEOC) meetings are continued and used to provide oversight of the routine immunization system in the province
