I worked as both an intern and an entry level engineer at Clark Construction on four different construction sites.As an engineer at the Verde Pointe apartments, I was responsible for managing appliance installation, working with suppliers to get replacement parts in for damaged appliances ahead of punchlist, and making minor repairs to them when needed. Beyond this primary responsibility, I assisted with overall quality control ahead of the architects and owner punchlists leading to final turnover. As an engineer at the Parcel N Forest City Arris apartment, I was responsible for the turnover punchlist on the job. I lead a team of subcontractors through finished spaces to complete work required as directed by the owners. I cataloged these work issues in Latista, scheduled with superintendents, and quality controlled the work to completion.As an intern I worked on a laboratory and a residence hall project on the George Washington University campus. This included full time work over the summers and balancing part-time work during the school years. During my time as an intern I managed field tasks, learned Constructware and Latista, worked on getting attic stock to site, and was training in field engineering.
