Tadhg studies factors affecting various dimensions of strategic management and firm performance, including knowledge and innovation outcomes, competitive positioning and financial outcomes. Tadhg has a specific interest in cooperative partnerships, how they can be evaluated and improved, and how they contribute to performance in the private and public sectors.Tadhg primarily uses econometric techniques to analyse datasets from wide-ranging archival sources, including annual accounts, patent applications, stock market data, and questionnaire data. His work has been published in the top tier of management journals globally, including the Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, and Academy of Management Annals. Tadhg has earned awards and/or funding from the Irish Research Council, Emerald Literati Awards, and Enterprise Ireland, among others.Tadhg is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a Ph.D from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Prior to joining Motu, Tadhg was a Senior Lecturer (tenured) in Strategic Management at Queen’s University Belfast where he taught on undergraduate, MBA and executive programmes, and a Lecturer at the University of Otago.
