Embarked on a rewarding contract with the University of Johannesburg, where my role as a software developer was to create a transformative web application. This innovative solution is designed for seamless integration into the university’s Learning Management System (LMS) and aims to facilitate the efficient distribution of meals to less fortunate students. Committed to leveraging technology for social impact, I contributed my skills to develop a web app that not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters a sense of community and support within the university environment. This project reflects a dedication to harnessing technology for positive change and exemplifies the powerful intersection of software development and social responsibility.

Engaged as a dynamic software developer within the JBS team, I played a pivotal role in crafting cutting- edge web applications for CHIETA. Leading a team of six developers, I spearheaded the development of an innovative online assessment tool. Leveraging my expertise in React Native and Expo, I ensured the seamless integration of user-friendly interfaces designed in Figma. The backend was powered by Asp.net, while my proficiency in web development, SQL/data reporting, and Azure technologies elevated the project’s success. My role extended beyond coding; I embraced the challenge of leading a collaborative team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Collaborated as part of a dedicated software development team during a two-day hackathon to create a website for the South African Council for Natural Science. Our project successfully simplified the process of verifying scientists’ eligibility, enhancing the organization’s operational efficiency.

I successfully developed a fully functional e-commerce website for Gergov Motors using Angular for the frontend and created a robust .NET 8 API to power the backend. To enhance the payment process, I integrated Yoco’s API, allowing seamless and secure checkouts. Furthermore, I opted for Azure as the hosting platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficient management of resources. By leveraging Azure’s cloud services, I’ve optimized the website’s performance and established a solid foundation for future growth. The combination of Angular, .NET 8, Yoco’s API, and Azure hosting ensures a smooth and reliable e-commerce experience for Gergov Motors and its customers.
