When I was a child, I was fascinated with robots and how robots operate. I was interested in the precise movements of robotic vaccums at my home and wondered how does the vacuum techonology work. As my father involved in the management and supervision of cement factory, I had opportunities to experinece different kinds of mechanical manufacturing machine and learned how they work. My passion for engineering developed through my interest in healthcare field when I participated in the robot exhibition held in Global Zeus located in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. In there, I realized that robots, especially humanoid robot, is designed to physically resemble the human body and behavior. And my hobby with calisthenics exercieses solidified my desire to learn more about machine design and development. On top of that, after graduating high school, I had a chance to undergo vision correction surgery, and I found out that precise robotic technology is used to dock laser on to the eye in the surgical process. During my college years, I have always been fascinated by biomechanics and its applications, particularly in the medical device industry. My grandfather’s Parkinson’s diagnosis and my father’s experience with atherosclerosis have heightened my awareness of the importance of understanding and optimizing biological systems. Volunteering to support soldiers dealing with mental trauma during my military service further reinforced my commitment to advancing research that tackles complex biological challenges.Through all the diverse experineces and passion, I want to be a Mechanical Engineer who harness and develop the healthcare technology to improve medical outcomes. Creating new medical technologies that adress the clinical needs is my professional goals and I'm dedicating my time and effort to advance development and push beyond the boundaries of clinical technology.
