Working with credits through training experience in the entertainment industry, environmental rehabilitation centers, human resources, and sales companies.My experience and skill set has led me through many amazing fields of work. I have worked in the field of entertainment cultivating the courage and ability to perform and speak to large audiences with candor and presence. At most, in front of upwards of 75,000 people. I spent several years in sales working through management of product and analyzing methods of retention and hiring for a diverse and inclusive team. My work with Lululemon allowed me to step into the role of regional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lead. I led a team of around 30 managers throughout the greater San Diego area in trainings and round table talks to spearhead the enrollment of our employees into Diversity learning. Together with the other managers we were able to rollout several round table conversations to help our team engage in safe space conversation to further their experience with diversity work surrounding language in the workplace and inclusivity towards clients. Newsletters with local resources and information regarding current equity work were sent out monthly, we had an optional book club bimonthly that we budgeted if employees participated, and held events to increase employee engagement. We also enrolled our team in an optional/paid for Diversity in the workplace college course where, if they would like to, could further their knowledge and skills. Key performance indicators were pinpointed to anonymous surveys sent out monthly and engagement grids that were kept to track employee participation. These statistics coupled with optional feedback meetings allowed us to asses and adjust training speeds to create a happier and more inclusive environment for our employees and clients.My most recent work with Alerislife allowed me to further hone my Human Resources skills and knowledge through multiple departments. I oversaw the full onboarding cycle of employees from 5 different managerial umbrellas, completed all documentation and verification paperwork for employees, assisted with benefit management, and worked to adjust employee handbooks to remain federal and state board compliant. Through my diverse experience as a leader and human resources department I have been able to deliver key KPIs and maintain company standards.
