With my peaking passion for Artificial Intelligence and the future of technology and society as a whole, in my second year studying Software Engineering at UNSW, I have decided to involve myself as an Industry Director at the UNSW Artificial Intelligence Society. My role as an industry director has involved expanding the influence and awareness of Artificial Intelligence, it's potential benefits and dangers, with students of all academic backgrounds through maintaining partnerships and sponsorships with both large well-established companies looking to venture into the AI space and creating new relationships with start-ups that embody this new wave of technology.

In my first year at UNSW, I played a fundamental role in the UNSW Computer Science and Engineering society as a member of the Careers portfolio. In this role I consistently communicated with companies and mentors to organise large scale events with over 300 attendees, fostering the bridge between the work place and students. Throughout my time in the Careers portfolio, I consistently developed my soft skills in communication through emails, online and in person meetings as well as gaining experience in public speaking in front of large crowds of both students and industry leading experts.

While working as a UX/UI Designer for CANOPUS Networks, I worked directly with the CEO, Dr Vijay Sivaraman, to create functional and creative wireframes that convey informations regarding network connectivity and traffic in a digestible format.Through this experience, I was exposed to the inner workings of the industry: - Balancing deadlines- Communicating and executing ideas in a professional environment- Creating creative solutions to difficult conceptual problems
