I enjoy being the point of entry for the Communications Department. It is my privilege to provide support to the communications vice president, three other leaders, manage the affairs of the office, and provide support to an excellent team. My position affords me the opportunity to provide excellent customer care to more than 7,200 team members and leaders. Our team supports requests from over 40 JPS healthcare facilities throughout Tarrant County with the fulfillment of a variety of communication requests. Our Department works directly with Administration and other healthcare leaders in the district. JPS, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Tarrant County, Texas, continues to develop cutting edge programs/affiliations and acquire certifications that continue to impact healthcare nationwide.

Provided executive-level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and Board of Directors for this nationally recognized Platinum Club, a private-gated H.O.A. community with Jack Nicklaus golf course. Also, worked directly with the club's attorney on numerous legal and covenant issues on a regular basis. Instituted improved organizational methods and developed a Standard Operating Procedures Manual. Co-authored various industry articles for publication.

Provided executive administrative support to three C-level partners in this start-up business for the development and production of automotive educational TV programming. Set up and managed the office, to include processing accounts payable/receivables. Developed customer service program standards, managed customer service representatives, provided complaint resolutions, technical assistance, and managed the network and contract/sales processes. Personally customized ACT! Premium for Workgroups to facilitate sales and customer services. Prompted sales and received commissions. Appeared as an extra in T.V. programming and provided craft services during filming.

Interacted with high net worth clients, attorneys, CPA's, charitable foundations and insurance companies. Developed innovative PowerPoint presentations for industry conferences. Self-taught in QuickBooks to reconcile all accounts and prepare 1099's. Organized all details for an out-of-state move to develop two offices, and managed both.

Assisted the Executive Director and Deputy Director of this non-profit agency, providing housing, education and services to those experiencing domestic violence. Attended Board meetings and transcribed minutes. Enlisted by the Executive Director to turn around the agency's thrift store, which was experiencing revenue challenges. Applied innovative solutions and standards. With the aid of my volunteer team, we increased sales 225% in one year. Managed 1.5 full time employees, 25+ volunteers and all financial/reporting aspects of this successful operation. Involved in media interviews for T.V. as well.

Placerville, Ca

Assisted the Founder/CEO in setting up this new child abuse prevention agency and later also assisted the Executive Director. Interfaced regularly with the hospital's perinatal unit, doctors, public health nurses and therapists. Provided statistical reporting and produced reports through Access for grant writing. Coordinated with volunteers and set up monthly educational and certification trainings. In addition, designed and produced a bi-monthly newsletter.
