I assisted in daily office tasks and keeping everything flowing. I worked with Raiser's Edge inputting and changing data to keep the information up to date. Some faculty members would request my help for creative projects.Second year was based in the Office of Student Involvement where I manned the front desk to help students and answer phone calls.

I called people from database numbers to walk them through a screening process for different research studies. If they qualified for the study, I explained all the information and answer any questions they may have. I followed quotas, guidelines, expectations, rules, and laws to ensure the studies are properly filled in a timely manner.

This was a desk job but I was still active with getting up to help students at other computer stations, walking them to classrooms they couldn't find, and helping professors with small tasks they needed help with. It was fulfilling to so easily see the positive impact I had on students as I explained the college, the programs offered, and how to meet with.

I started as a cashier then eventually became a floor worker where I would keep the aisles clean, help customers find products, and put away stock deliveries every week. After a couple years, I helped train new employees on the register and showed them the ropes of walking the aisles every hour or so to make sure there weren't any hazards or misplaced.
