I worked on the project "Multiphase Unbalanced Power System Optimization". This project was done as the Master Thesis. A software was developed using Matlab ->Yalmip-> External Solver (Gurobi/CPLEX) which optimizes operating cost of power systems. The nonlinear and non-convex problem was solved using iterative linearization method. Appropriate step size was chosen using existence of solution criteria of fixed point method for power flow solution.

Developed error logging program and visualization using TWINCat- 3 for PLC-based (Beckhoff) controlled pick and pack unit.

Carried out product characterization and testing of Silicon MEMS and Pressure Sensors

Learned maintenance and installation of various equipment in substations(GSM-West). Also learned to programme protection systems in substations. The substations were of 220kV, 132kV, 66kV and 11kV voltage levels and of AIS, GIS & HIS types.

Worked on GWUT-WSN (Guided Waves Ultrasonic Testing of metallic structures using Wireless Sensing Network) with Master students. ”. My task was to develop actuating and sensing circuit for radial mode piezoelectric transducer. A microcontroller was used to control the functions of oscillator, multiplexer, ADC and piezoelectric transducer. A MATLAB based program was also developed which analyzes the signal for the presence of crack in the testing specimen. The developed circuit was also capable of generating various frequencies i.e. 170 kHz, 200 kHz and 300 kHz which enabled us to use transducers which operate at different resonant frequencies.
