About Tahereh Moadeli

A Research and Development (R&D) Scientist with PhD in Biological Sciences, and extensive R&D knowledge in plant protection, pest management and formulation (both academia and relevant industries). The outcomes of my research have now been implemented in Australian production, tested in international factories, published in high-quality journals, and been a valuable tool for research in various national & international projects. I have designed and developed a high-productivity and cost-effective larval diet formulation (Moadeli et al. 2017, Journal of Pest Science) that is being used in a pest management program of national significance in Australia, and further refined the diet to fulfil both cost and quality requirements for industrial use (Moadeli et al. 2018a, b, c, 2019, and 2020).I have worked in R&D departments of various significant agricultural, agrochemicals, and home garden industries, managing scientific and commercial projects with the aim of investigating new products, innovative formulations and solutions, efficacy and safety protocols and trials (lab/field/factory), and data quality and analysis for a successful product registration and launch. I have also collaborated with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams.I am passionate about advancing the scientific knowledge and innovation in the field of R&D, and possess the following knowledge at international level:• Sterile Insect Technique (SIT) • Synthetic and natural formulation development• Product development from concept to registration, large-scale production and launch• Agricultural product registration, APVMA guidelines and CIPAC methods• Stage & Gate, TRL and CRL frameworks
