-Monitoring Construction activities for Syncrude which includes Soil Inspection, Construction monitoring, Site, Foundation Investigations, and verifying client specifications meets design specifications.-Ensuring construction is progressing as per design for multi-disciplinary projects carried out in the mine such as Dyke construction, Retaining and Shoring systems, Slope stabilization etc.-Maintained detailed notes for everyday activities, records of equipment used, inspecting and approving Shovel materials for various projects in the mine, tracking and recording the GPS coordinates of tests conducted on floor. Also, the drawings were regularly updated and communicated with cross-shifts.-Checked for deficiencies on compacted soil surface such as capping, cracks, slop or ruts deeper than the required amount. Also, contacted with the senior monitor regarding the same and solutions to eliminate them were discussed. -Coordinated with Survey team to put up stakes to verify construction limits and notify the engineers about any over builds along with GPS Coordinates and pictures. -Compaction test are done using Nuclear-Densometer and the values obtained in field were verified with the compaction requirements for various projects.-Communication with heavy equipment operators using radio and also driving off-road in the mine.

-As a quality control inspector, I worked on various MTO projects as well as with Metrolinx to complete their "Davenport Dimond elevated Guideway" project.-Worked alongside Structural Engineers, Project Coordinators, Production supervisors, to ensure the product dimensions being built were according to design specifications. -Assisted Batch plant manager, Supervisor with finalizing the mix-design for 60MPA self compacting concrete and also monitored the affect of various super-plasticizers on strength and workability.-Conducted Pre-Pour inspections on bridge segments which include Dimensional checks, rebar inspections and bearing plate elevations to ensure product requirements are met.-Inspections were also performed after the pour to ensure that the length, width, and top elevations were in accordance with the quality manual. The product was also inspected for nonconformities such as exposed rebar, honeycombing, and cracks.- Conducted On-site survey using a Total Station to check elevations for the top and bottom of the girder, bearing plate, and diaphragm plate. Also, documented survey data obtained from site, prepared and maintained inspection reports, along with material data sheets and calibration reports.-Performed different tests on plastic as well as hardened concrete such as Air-content test, Penetration test, Slump cone test, Compressive test, Wet density etc. on site to ensure the final product is of higher quality.-Maintained daily inventory count of the products being poured along with the documenting the post-pour and pre-pour dimensions.
