• Start up, shutdown and normal operation of the plant (2xGE 6FA, 2xHRSG, 1xSTG GET10R with total plant capacity 220MW) in a safe and optimized manner. • Handling emergency arising during plant operation under guidance of shift charge engineer.• Assist CRE for preparing Daily Generation Report, hourly recon. of load demand, water wash report and all other reports and DCS related job.• Monitoring & recording of field equipment parameters from field as well as from DCS.• Identifying and notifying defects in the plant and reporting of incidents. • Ensuring isolations & normalizations of the equipment as per PTW norms.• Change over the plant equipment weekly/forth nightly as per schedule to check the healthiness of equipment. • Conduct check lists of various systems as per the schedule to check for any abnormalities. • Monitoring water treatment system process as well as cooling system of the plant. • Carried out DM plant equipment’s/process isolation and normalization if required.• Taking trial run of critical drives and plant safety drives like BSDG, FWP, Foam pump etc.• Responsible for operation of GBC, IAC, RMS and FGCS, PH line up and operation.• Monitoring GIS, Switchgear, UPS and DC system. • Ensuring proper safety while working in the plant. • Maintaining log sheet, log book, check sheet. Key Task Completed: • Hot Gas path Inspection (HGPI) of Gas Turbine (6FA.03) along with General Electric (GE). • Gas Turbine (6FA.03) Borescopic inspection of Compressor, Combustion chamber, and Hot gas path with General Electric (GE). • Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) inspection along with HRST Inc. • Gas Turbine air intake filter house inspection with replacement. • Steam Turbine Exhaust, Hot-well, Condenser & Water box inspection. • Gas turbine and Steam turbine with HRSG preservation.

• Erection & commissioning of Wartsila, W18V50DF Engine (Each 18.415 MW, 6 Gensets) and a 6.6 MW of Steam Turbine with 6 nos. EGB (Alpha Laval, Finland) and all other auxiliaries. Total generation of 110 MW. • Safe startup and shutdown of the engine, STG, EGB and its auxiliaries as per SOP and loading/ unloading as per schedule of NLDC.• Responsible for smooth operation of plant and reduce down time by taking instantaneous and correct decisions.• Responsible for operation & troubleshooting of Engine, STG, CW System, Condensed System, Lube Oil & HFO Separator (Alfa Laval), Oily Water Separator (Victor Marine Sep-CS 5000), Booster Unit, Feeder Unit, Transfer Pump, EGB (Alfa Laval), Auxiliary boiler (Alfa Laval), Start & Instrument Air Compressors etc. • Responsible for operation & troubleshooting of WTP and maintain the quality of DM water. • Safe operation as per SOP for 400 KW Black start DG, 80 KW electric motor fire pump, Diesel fire pump and Jockey pumps.• Operation of 11/230 KV Substation including SAS (SIEMENS), Power Transformer (2x70/80 MVA), Auxiliary Transformer (2x4000 KVA), CT, PT, isolator, Lightning Arrester etc.• Monitor and inspection of power plant equipments and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.• Follow all relevant safety protocols and legal codes.• Maintain all log books and parameters and record the history of all machineries, engine and Steam Turbine history books.
