Eit Reservoir Engineer Ii- Underground Storage
CurrentNew Energy Technologies Projects:- CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS)- Underground Hydrogen Storage(UHS) Support Enbridge's New Energy Technology (NET) strategy by supporting projects and developing technical standards to advance the energy transition.1. Support the development of specifications and standards for all stages of underground storage asset lifecycle (design and development of reservoir models and studies, reservoir assessment and development, reserve and economic analysis, commissioning, operations, integrity management (MMV) and decommissioning) for Hydrogen and CO2 underground storage in consultation with Subject Matter Experts. 2. Support material testing programs for Hydrogen and CO2 well systems by providing guidance on metallurgy of wellhead, casing, tubing, and down hole equipment design, corrosion impacts study on well materials and operating requirements.3. Develop and implement comprehensive impurity specifications for CO2 storage project at Wabamun Hub, Alberta, guaranteeing the safety and reliability of geological storage.4. Conduct in-depth research on phase behavior and chemical interactions between CO2 and porous rocks, contributing to enhanced storage efficiency.5. Develop Techno-Economic Evaluation tools to support asset investment decisions and to inform the new energy technology roadmaps and Perform baseline NET technology engineering within existing Enbridge assets to identify opportunities to meet our NetZero goals. 6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of deliverables with business needs and Enbridge standards such as develop interactive map for CCS and Hydrogen storage in North America and do research on potential Salt domes where H2 Storage(Salt Caverns) will be applicable i.e Salt domes in Gulf Coast region/SouthWestern Ontario.
