Presentlya working as OUTSOURCING MANAGER - HIDESIGN INDIA PVT.LTD - PONDICHERRY.Looking after the five outsourced factories in Pondicherry and Chennai.Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly planning, production and dispatch of Leather Bags, wallets, Office Bags,Tote Bags and other accessories products.Ensure the quality of the products as per company standards.Maintained all factory norms like safety, hygiene, infrastructure and other statutory norms.Previously worked as Sr.Production manager-URBAN LIVING -MUMBAI..Looking after the entire production of Leather Sofas, Recliners, Loungers,Chairs,Ottoman and other lifestyle products.Previously worked in WOODLAND - As PRODUCTION MANGER in NOIDALooking after the production of Leather Bags, wallets, Keyrings, Backpack for daily use, Long travel bags, Clutch and other small items like Paci Pod, Diaper mini bag and so on. MANAGEABILITY- MANPOWER:Handling a team of 120-125 skilled and unskilled manpower from Cutting dept.to Finishing and QC team.Responsible for increasing productivity, quality performance and yield through the application of Lean Manufacturing Process (Toyota Production System) and Continuous improvement process (Kaizen).Implemented and Maintained 5S system in RM and FG warehouses.Track the below mentioned points to increase the productivity:Labor Utilization Rate (LUR), Capacity Utilization Rate (CUR), Production Efficiency, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Total available labor hour (Direct/Indirect).Communicate with stores for raw materials and other cutting materials availability.Issuing and managing cutting Lots for contractors as well as for the assembly line. MANAGEABILITY -MACHINE AND MAINTENANCE:Maintain the daily maintenance log sheet of machines, track the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Machine downtime.PLANNING:Make monthly, weekly and daily cutting, production and dispatch plan. To make the flow more efficient and productive, conduct weekly supply chain meeting with other departments (store, E-commerce, Purchase teams) for follow ups of raw materials and any ad hoc requirementsConduct daily huddles with team members for day to day activities and take appropriate action plans as and when required.
