👋🏼 I am a hands-on Biomedical Engineer, specializing in retinal imaging technologies. My experience encompasses the development of imaging systems, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), and the execution of in vivo animal and human studies involving optoretinography and angiography. I have worked extensively with mouse models for various conditions, including glaucoma, inherited retinal disorders, age-related macular degeneration, and Alzheimer's disease. I have successfully translated my work in optoretinography and angiography from animal models to preclinical human studies.I strive to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical applications through translational retinal imaging.As a postdoctoral trainee at Genentech, I am currently working on two-photon microscopy and adaptive optics (AO) ophthalmoscopy to visualize the retina's intricate architecture in unparalleled detail in live animals, aiming to advance our understanding of glaucoma.
